This area is about looking over your books and fixing errors and making changes so that you can get them ready for tax filings and matters of the sort. You do not have to be located within Portland, Oregon as long as we can get a copy of your books, you can be located in most areas. Of course we will need to have a copy of your books. And the program that accesses them.

If you are like most small businesses, you know how to do a lot of work when it comes to your books. But as with some, they want to let someone else look at them. To solve problems, answer questions, and things like that. And that is what this area is about. It's about getting a second opinion you might say.

We not only can look them over, give you some ideas or pointers, but we can fix them up, ready them for tax filing and, if necessary, put your books back on the right track.

Some people know a lot about the books and then some people know some. Then there are those questions that are just more complicated and that's where we come in. How to do things that are not generally done all the time; how to input things so that they make sense when it comes to the accounting equation. To the IRS you might say.

In most to all cases, we will need full-access to your books, so you might want to schedule this at a time you might not need them for a day or two. Most accountant copies, such as with QuickBooks work well, but in many ways they are very limited. This may not be so with an online version but in most cases this is the problem. At times we might have to add accounts, delete accounts, merge accounts, and make general other entries so it requires full-use of the books to do that with. So that all things are done right and up-to-par you might say. 

We can however just give you information on what needs to be done, and how to do it, but this is going to cost you far more in the end if we have to line-by-line everything. But this is of course up to the company. Whatever you feel comfortable with, is what we can do.

Doing this is a good idea at least one time a year to prepare for tax preparation. And considering we do taxes, it might not be a bad idea to let us do that. But again, its up to the company and your needs. We can work around most things.
