Many times, we have, at BC Business Services, Inc. come into contact with many decent people who for whatever reason or another, just could not make it in business. It is not uncommon to see many small businesses fail within the first few years.  The President likes to comment and is writing just such a book, "Most Businesses Fail Because They Fail To Plan."

Perhaps it is the thrill of not making very much money for a few years and eventually having to file for quits that drives these entrepreneurs. All puns aside, of course no one likes to fail or see others fail.  At least not in our firm.

As a service to our site visitors we are including a link to the Small Business Administration's (SBA) self assessment tool that can assist you in determining if you truly are ready to start a business.  They provide resources and links to assist you in the overall development of your company and the goals and other avenues should you wish to pursue them.  It is a great resource and worth looking into if you are also considering starting a business of your own.

Don't let accountants tell you get out there, what are you waiting for and end up spending awful amounts and sums of capital on a venture that may not have been smart enough to get into in the first place. Be wise and plan.  You'll be happy that you did in the long-run.  The excitement will come, just give it time and in the meantime, take the assessment and see if you really are ready to start a business. And if you are come see us, we'll get you moving and keep you moving in the right direction. Of course, we are not "miracle workers."
